Menu Photos for
a Private Chef
The Goal
Be honest, we’ve all been to a restaurant with fancy dish names and silently wished there were photos on the menu. With a high price tag, you want to know exactly what you’re getting. Adam Mysak is a private chef based in Winnipeg. When I started working with him, he needed a way for people to easily book with him and know exactly what they’re going to get.
The Approach
The photos had to be sharp and clean. The food is the main event. Adam is a perfectionist with his plating, so I was a perfectionist with the shots. Each dish has it’s own personality. And while he was preparing the dishes, I got to take some nice shots of the process.
The Results
Adam was extremely happy with them, he called me twice, out of the blue, just to tell me how happy he was with the results. He’s not the only one. This is one of my favourite projects I’ve ever done. I’m already in talks to do more sessions capturing Adam’s amazing culinary talent.
