Headshots
The best part of being surrounded by like-minded creative in CreComm is that everyone is willing to be a guinnea pig. I spent so much time practicing on classmates, that I’ve become the
go-to photographer when you need a headshot.
The challenge is to make it look intentional, but not too staged. Professional, but with personality.
There are a lot of approaches to a good, natural headshot, but, in my opinion, nothing works better than keeping your subject talking and laughing. I like to play music and keep some stories and interview questions on-hand while I’m working. You’d never be able to tell, but in all these photos, my subjects are giving me book and movie recommendations.
The result? Clean, expressive headshots to be used on many personal websites just like this one. Iris (first photo) and
Angel (second photo) have both asked me to take their photos again after these sessions.
I helped them get the right look, and I can help you too. Whether it’s for your LinkedIn, website, or a social media post, trust me to make you look like you.
